Two rowing regattas will take place on the occasion of the 60th International Lake Constance Week 2025 (IBW):
Coastal Beach Sprint Rowing (Co2x) and Imperia Sprint (4x, C-GIG 4X+)
Date: Saturday 14 June 2025
Both regattas will take place in the centrally located harbour of the city of Constance, which is easily visible to spectators.
The races of both regattas will be held with two boats/teams each in a knockout system. Both regattas are open to women’s, men’s and mixed teams with rowing experience:
Regatta 1: ‘Coastal Beach Sprint’
Race start: in the afternoon from approx. 17:30 hrs
Course length approx. 450 metres, no starting blocks
Venue: Harbour of the city of Constance
Boat type: Coastal 2x
Regatta 2: ‘Imperia Sprint’, night regatta with floodlit boats
Race start: in the evening from 21:30
Course length approx. 450 metres, no starting blocks
Venue: Harbour basin of the city of Constance
Boat type: 4X+, C-GiG, steered
Please note:
- The boats for both regattas will be provided by the organiser.
- A maximum of eight starting places are available per regatta.
- Registrations will be considered according to the date of receipt.
- Racing Rules:
- The rowing regatta regulations of the SRV, LRV, DRV, ÖRV or other FISA associations do not apply here.
- The detailed tender documents will be available by 1 April 2025 at the latest under Rowing on the IBW website.
