Why Elba: The island is the 3rd largest island in Italy and still considered as a secret spot. Sicily and Sardengna are bigger but this island offers the best rowing opportunities. It is close to the italian coastline and has wonderful beaches. It takes only 100 km to row around the island from east to west, from north to south. There are many reasons to join us in Elba, Italy: Rowing in Elba, an island in the Tuscan Archipelago, is a unique and rewarding experience for every rower. Non Rowing Time: Enjoy with us the island: Elba is rich in history, most notably as the place of Napoleon Bonaparte’s exile in 1814. Rowing gives you access to various historical sites along the coast, such as ancient fortresses, lighthouses, and old fishing villages. If time allows, we will visite these sites and enjoy fishermen villages and medieval sites and ancient settlements.

The waters around Elba are teeming with marine life, making it an excellent spot for those interested in nature. While rowing, you can observe dolphins, various fish species, and vibrant underwater ecosystems.
