Description
Coastal Rowing Oars
Our Coastal Rowing oars are perfectly adapted to the wind and rough conditions you’ll find at the coast. They are available in different degrees of stiffness and configurations!
Oar grips in different sizes
Size | Small | Medium | Large |
Diametre | 32 mm | 35 mm | 37 mm |
Stiffness
HPR | CPR | STD |
The HP oar shafts are 95% carbon and the same weight and stiffness as racing scull oars from the leading manufactures. We recommend CPR Oars for Coastal Rowing
|
The CPR oar shafts have less carbon, have little more flex than HPR, and are just a few gr heavier per oar. The difference in weight is negligible, but the increased flexibility will benefit everyone that rows in singles and doubles.
There is no loss of boat speed, but less stress is put on the back and the catch. |
The STDc oar shafts are 40% carbon, have about 20% more flex than CPR, and are just 70g heavier per oar. They are therefore ideal for young beginners and casual and recreational rowers.
